We analyse your database

You send a database backup, without the filestore. We restore it on an isolated server and list every installed module and what each one needs.

A phased plan, a timeline and one price for the whole migration, sent as a sales order you can pay online or by transfer.

Migration, hop by hop

One version at a time, plus the edition switch if you change edition. Custom and third-party modules are ported at each step.

Test on a live copy

Your migrated database runs on our servers for 30 days. Your team tests real work on it; we fix what they find.

Go live

On cutover day we run the migration once more from a fresh backup, bring the attachments across, and you switch over.

Same edition, newer version. Standard apps upgrade by script; your custom code is ported.

Enterprise to a newer Enterprise, including Studio customisations and full accounting.

Questions

Before you send us anything

It depends on how many versions you are jumping, how many custom and third-party modules you run, and the size of the database. We quote one price for the whole migration after we have analysed your database, so there are no per-phase surprises.
No. You keep working on your current version while we migrate and while you test. The final run uses a fresh backup on cutover day, so nothing entered in the meantime is lost.
Attachments do not change between versions, and they make the backup many times larger. We migrate the database first and bring the attachments across once, at cutover.
It is used only for your migration, restored on an isolated server, and deleted when the project closes — or within 30 days if you decide not to go ahead.
The analysis flags it before you pay. We propose a standard replacement or a rewrite, and the sales order says which.
Yes. Both let you download a database backup, and that is all we need to start. Tell us where you want to run afterwards and we plan the go-live around it.
